Have you tried pedal karting at Phillip Island? How about cruising the waters off Denarau Island in a glass-bottomed kayak? Or have you given frisbee golf a spin at Dinner Plain?
With a new year beginning and holiday planning in full swing during the summer holidays, we are pleased to remind you about the club’s free activities program for Club Wyndham South Pacific owners.
Several resorts now offer unique experiences, while all South Pacific resorts offer complimentary hire of sporting equipment. Currently, over 200 activities are offered at your resorts or complimentary equipment hire is available onsite.
At present, the club’s best-known experiences are:
- A hobby farm featuring alpacas, cows, goats, and chickens at Club Wyndham Seven Mile Beach
- A gold and gem sluice and history tours at Club Wyndham Ballarat
- The activity circuit at Club Wyndham Phillip Island, which can be completed using pedal karts
We are currently considering ideas for further experiences to enhance other club resorts.
Examples of activities the club offers include an Aussie billy tea and damper experience by the firepit at Club Wyndham Seven Mile Beach, an outdoor cinema and jumping castle (seasonal) at Club Wyndham Phillip Island, and some resorts have giant outdoor games, retro arcade games, video game consoles and board games.
Your South Pacific resorts also offer complimentary hire of surfboards, body boards, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, paddle boards, fishing rods, canoes, bikes, golf clubs and badminton, tennis, table tennis and basketball gear, and even picnic baskets depending on the resort.
To help you explore each destination, e-bikes and e-scooters are particularly popular and available to people over 18+ at the following locations:
- E-bikes: Marcoola Beach, Surfers Paradise, Flynns Beach, Sydney, Shoal Bay, Ballarat, Melbourne, Dunsborough, Perth, Rotorua and Wanaka
- E-scooters: Torquay, Marcoola Beach and Surfers Paradise
Children’s bikes are also available at most resorts.
For something different, try frisbee golf at Dinner Plain, the tandem bike at Kirra Beach, pedal boats at Ballarat, coconut bowling in Fiji, or cricket at Coffs Harbour.
You can see what to expect at each resort by visiting the Before You Go page on the club website and clicking through to your respective resort. You can also take a closer look at some of many options on Club Wyndham TV.
Equipment is subject to availability and may need to be booked. Experiences like tours and the Club Wyndham Seven Mile Beach hobby farm are conducted at certain times of the day. Please ask reception at the resort where you are staying for further details.
Our team is already working on new ideas to be rolled out across the club portfolio this year. Stay tuned – we cannot wait to reveal more in the coming months.
Sincerely,
The Club Wyndham South Pacific team
